Dear Dr. Brewer and the EECP crew,
I can truthfully say that I have had a wonderful experience with EECP. When I started this therapy I was having difficult time breathing because of COPD. I was also having chest pain in the chest wall because of by pass surgery and staff infection.
I started EECP and at the same time I started Cardiac Rehab. My experience has been wonderful for me. I went to 35 sessions with Cardiac Rehab. At the end my breathing was improved very much. My oxygen level was not dropping like it was when I started I have more energy and endurance.
The EECP, after 35 sessions has given me more energy. I am breathing easier. My oxygen level is not dropping. I am now walking up to 10,000 steps a day and lifting 15lb weights without running out of breath.
I recommend EECP and Cardiac Rehab for anyone that needs more energy, strength, better heart health, and easier breathing.
I am amazed at what I was able to do at the close of these treatments. I could go to sleep and totally enjoy the hour.
I must say thank you to the ladies that took care of me. I feel that I was being treated like a king.
I have had a great experience. If I ever need EECP again, I will not hesitation. I am very thankful for the Cardia Rehab and all who worked with me.

In January of 2008 I was told by Dr. Brewer and heart surgeon, Dr. Robert Helsel, that even though I needed a third open-heart surgery to bypass blocked arteries, I was not a candidate for the surgery. So, when Dr. Brewer suggested the EECP treatments in November of 2009 I was ready to try anything that would be of help to me. Before the treatments I was unable to walk very far without pain in my legs and had shortness of breath. During the treatments I began to notice that I could walk longer distances without pain and did not get short of breathe as soon as I did before. After completing the series of 35 treatments I am able to walk without pain and am not as short of breathe as I was. I would recommend the therapy and would like to say that the technicians went out of their way to make the treatments as comfortable as they could.
